Dixons Retail plc, one of Europe's leading specialist electrical retail and services companies, announces that Rita Clifton, a non-executive director, will be stepping down from the Board after three terms, at the conclusion of the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting on the 6th September 2012.
Commenting on the change, John Allan, Chairman of Dixons Retail plc, said, "Rita Clifton has served the Board for nine years and I would like to thank her for her significant contribution to the Company during this time."
The Board is looking to recruit a new non-executive director to replace the skills Rita brought to the Group, and hopes to be able to announce an appointment in due course.
