Staff training and awareness
Our staff training has included disability awareness for several years to ensure that our frontline employees recognise and address the needs of those affected by all forms of disability. Training is repeated annually and we look for innovative ways to train our staff, including partnerships with charities. An intranet site dedicated to disability matters ensures staff have instant access to all necessary information.
To ensure that our standards are continually improving, we conduct a disability mystery shopping programme on an annual basis.
Store accessibility issues
We are continually reviewing the accessibility of all parts of our business. This includes signage, websites, product information, customer systems, services and awareness. We monitor our work programme to ensure that we are continually improving and enhancing our services for customers with disabilities.
